Dulce Bellum is a guild that values high-quality raiding with minimal time commitment. Our primary goal is efficiency: we expect our members to perform at a high level so that we can progress through endgame content while making the most of our raid time. At the same time, we encourage a respectful environment in which all raiders should feel an investment in helping the group improve, one in which everyone actually looks forward to logging in and raiding. We like to have fun, and we insist upon raiding with people we like. This doesn't mean, however, that we let anyone get by with putting forth a half-ass effort. If you aren't performing up to our standards, expect to be put on the bench until you can improve your performance. 

We provide a relaxed raid environment that is still focused on progression, and we push as far in progression each tier as we can, while always having a good time.  We never raid more than two days per week. Because of this limited schedule, we expect all raiders to come prepared, having studied strategies and watched videos of the planned encounters beforehand. No raider should depend on the raid leader to introduce a fight for the first time. Additionally, we expect all raiders to come with their specs optimized, their gear fully enchanted and gemmed, and with appropriate flasks and food buffs. If you aren't doing everything you can to maximize your performance, you are wasting the raid's time. 

Dulce Bellum was formed in December 2009 by a group of core raiders who had already been raiding together for several years. We all have busy lives outside of WoW, which is why we decided to form a guild that focuses on accomplishing as much as possible in just two days per week; we have been successfully raiding on a two-day schedule since the guild was founded.  You can always expect a smoothly-run, drama-free environment both in raids and in the general guild.
